i wonder what it is about food memories that are so powerful? as a young girl in the 70s our grandma would take my brother and i to local orchards near mudgee as a summer treat. we would come home with boxes of peaches, just picked and warm from th
i wonder what it is about food memories that are so powerful? as a young girl in the 70s our grandma would take my brother and i to local orchards near mudgee as a summer treat. we would come home with boxes of peaches, just picked and warm from the sun, that first bite heavenly as the juice dripped down our arms. she also made a mean, very boozy trifle. today we’re celebrating a birthday and dessert is top of my list. roasting these incredible peaches yesterday (thank you david) made me full of nostalgia so a trifle it will be. this one’s for you nanny 🍑🧡

THE PRODUCE BOXES

finding a way to cook at home with a calibre of produce formerly only available to chefs was the inspiration behind the produce boxes.

each week i make a selection from the best produce on offer from a family of local farms  - situated in a loop through the southern highlands, blue mountains, hawkesbury and central west regions of nsw.

PICKUP DAYS AND TIMES FOR PRODUCE BOXES WILL BE POSTED ON THE ‘SHOP’ SECTION OF THE WEBSITE AS SOON AS I KNOW FOR THE WEEK AHEAD.
